2018: the park rangers are so helpful and have awesome Maine accents. I like camping and hiking here better than Acadia. There's beautiful scenery and it isn't crowded. 2017: The 111 campsite was beautiful, right on the water, private, and quiet. The whole park was beautiful, clean, and quiet.

Friendly staff, no others campers during our stay, quiet and very peaceful. There are showers, but the building they are in is a little chilly. We did encounter a raccoon who visited while we slept and it is in the middle of the woods and secluded, so do expect to encounter animals.

This is my favorite camping spot in Maine. Beautiful secluded sites, great staff, basically just all around great. I go every year.

Incredible beauty! Close to Lubec and other quaint towns. On the border with Canada. Mosquitoes are really thick in July!
