I've been involved in the construction and renovation for last couple of months it's a very special place for the kids that need a break from their illness and those affected by it!

As a cancer survivor, Camp Ooch gave me the opportunity to meet others who've overcome similar challenges in life as well as those who've delt with different struggles entirely (loss of a sibling). But no matter what, the Ooch experience never lost it's luster. The volunteers and counsellors are extraordinary. Even if you're a new camper, you'll find your group of friends quickly and connect with so many types of people. I could go on and on. If you're in the position of choosing whether or not to go, definitely go!!! Camp Oochigeas changed my life for the better.
