View was beautiful ! That’s why I would give it one star. I actually found that it was very run down.Spikes were sticking out of steps , railings loose, nails were sticking out of the posts, even long grass in most places. Not worth the $23 My husband and I had to spend for the 1.5 hrs we were there. Lots of people were coming in and out so where is the money going ?!? It’s not to up keeping the property by the looks of it. I’m sorry but I def won’t be back, sad because it really has so much potential.

Absolutely stunning spot! My only complaint is the $10 per day charge for my dogs, when they have a free roaming dog on site themselves. Other than that, we had a spectacular first camping trip of the season.

Beautiful place to camp. Washrooms were clean and great staff. The walking trails lead you to beautiful caves.

What an impressive delight! I came here on the first day it opened for the season to check out the tunnels and caves and I was not disappointed. The views are spectacular and I learned a lot about the history of gold mining in the area. I explored the campground while I was here and it was beautiful as well. The trails are worth checking out for anyone who likes taking a walk in stunning scenery. Definitely a stop worth making in Nova Scotia.

Interesting short hike, with lots of history on gold panning in the area. Worth the trip and the $10 entrance fee. Camp ground is nice but you have to pay $5 for your dog on top of the $35 camping fee.
