This place is perfect. Platforms for tents, micro cabins, and RV sites are right on the ocean. I didn't go but they will take you to one of the islands to camp in the wilderness, which was a nice option. They also will rent you everything you need - tent and bedding, perfect if you want to pack light and just want to stay a couple of nights on a longer journey.

People are nice, Place is awesome and beautiful during good day and night ! my first biking experience was terrible but people in this campground cheer me up ! they know i'm going to catch cold if i stay inside tent so they upgraded me to stay in the cottage ! they knew my leg was injured can hardly ride the bike back , so they trying to help me and eventually bring me back to halifax together with my bike ! lots of thing done by them to me in just few days and all i can say is a very big thanks to you guys Kim , Venus , Karle (sorry if i spell the name wrongly) . Appreciate your help during my stay in your campground and you guys are awesome making this place from nothing to something ! keep it up ! I definitely will recommend my friend who stay in Canada to stop at your place to stay =D

Norse Cove is an incredible place to stay for a day, two or even more! A friend and I booked a last minute weekend here. We spent one night at the campground then rented two kayaks for two days and camped on an island beach! Kim and Werner went above and beyond as hosts. They offer free firewood and coffee to campers which is such a simple touch! Werner made sure we were well prepared for our kayaking adventure. We had such a great experience that we ended up buying kayaks from them and plan to spend many weekends this coming summer at Norse Cove! Thanks for everything, Kim and Werner!

Great spot at the ocean, new facilities and kim, werner and carl are just superfriendly and helpful. Definitely worth to stay a while.

Had a great time camping over the Labour Day long weekend. We booked campsite #3 and it was right next to the shore so we were able to hear the waves early in the morning waking up. Also, the spot was awesome for star gazing on a clear night. Kim and Werner were very friendly, I would recommend this campsite as something that's far enough out of Halifax to feel like you're actually out of the city, but close enough that you could easily do a weekend trip as it is only about an hour's drive away.
