Would not ever stay there. So me and a buddy are backpacking across Canada right now and I emailed these guys to book a site and get a quote. Says like $27or 30 online, cool she emails me saying it's going to be an extra $10 for two tents. It is cheaper to camp here if you have 1 6-8 person tent then 2 1-2 person tent. Makes sense right? Not. Then I told her don't worry about it she's in it for the money and not the customers and now she's like we'll if you explained your situation then that would have been a different story.... OK so ya I would give you 0 stars but I can't 👎

Use to love this campground until tonight. Always was one of my favorite places to camp but tonight really made me have a second thought. A friend had called twice was told about the music festival which was great we didnt care. We drove an hour and a half up from halifax to get there to find out there was a regulation that we couldnt have a camp fire due to said festival. That would have been good to know the first 2 times we called... then on their website it tells us that the rates are based off of 2 people per bed. We had 4 people 2 beds they were going to charge us an extra 10$ person 2 extra people.

They were running a music festival at the campground; I called yesterday and they said there’s a two day minimum stay for cabins during “events” but they told me I could call this morning and if no one booked it I could have the cabin for one night; called this morning, cabin wasn’t booked, WOOHOO! Drove 1.5 hours from Halifax, when I got there they said we can’t have a firepit because the Marshalls don’t allow fires active during festivals/events (and I don’t know about you but for me if there’s no fire pit, there’s no point in camping). Would have been nice to have been told this the first two times I called. First impressions count, these guys definitely dropped the ball.
