This is fantastic park to spend a hot summer day. They have kayak and canoe rentals as well. You can rent a canoe and paddle towards small falls and have fun over there. Swimming area is really nice but can be extremely busy on weekends. Canoeing to the falls and spend fun time there is highly recommended. Small fast food place is decent or bring your own BBQ to feed yourself.

Nice and easy trails to walk for anyone and any age. Stroller friendly, pet friendly. However feels very commercialized and too many people. Trails are or were incredibly busy. Dogs barking everywhere. So if you are looking for a more remote hike and peaceful outing this is probably not the place. If you have small kids and want a family friendly place then this is the place for you. Great concession stand that is open until 8:30pm but it only takes cash. They have an ATM machine but it charges a $3 service fee! Swimming area is very small with a decent size beach. Lots of boats to rent but lake is not very big. Again great for beginners or a casual outing.

This is a really nice park. The lake area gets very busy during weekends, so I recommend to get early to get a good parking spot and a good spot with shades near the lake. The old mill is great, it has a few caves and a nice hiking trail. In the lake area there is a ice cream shop but is cash only. Also, there is a little place to rent kayaks (but i didn’t try it)

Beautiful place! So much to do. The ruins tend to get very busy with weddings, engagements, maternity shoots etc around 11am and on so I recommend showing up early if you want the place for photos for yourselves! And oh take bug spray!! So many bugs due to the water being so close

We were at the beach area, didn't have a chance to walk all around. I liked this place. Nature is amazing! Only one thing it is a lot of people. For privacy lovers it is not very good. But you can find many picnics tables and spot for you and your friends and family
