Great place to take the family for either a day trip or a camping trip. Tons of activities such as swimming, fishing, canoe rentals, hiking. Pavilions are good for events, water is not too cold and not too deep in swimming areas. I wish there were a few less geese but that's life. Facilities such as washrooms and showers are well maintained and kept pretty clean. Lots of great campsites!

Canada Furday in the Park was a great success! Definitely a fur-friendly location. The park was extremely busy for Canada Day weekend, but the staff seemed prepared and friendly. The beach was clean, the water clear and warm. The picnic area we used was well kept and suited our needs perfectly. Would gladly return!

Arrived by bicycle in early June, arrived at the site to find we had no neighbors in the no excessive noise area. The park wasn't too busy elsewhere. There were plenty of trees and the grass in the site was lush. The combination created a peaceful night of sleep. The beach area used was clean and the water cool but refreshing once in. Green alge had already begun to form so the water was a little murky but not enough to prevent a swim. A good experience that made for a good night outside the City of Toronto.

Has some decent beaches, not too busy. Some green open spaces. An OK lake for kayaking and fishing. Very close to Guelph, which can be very convenient. Not too impressive, but good for a place close to the city.

The main beach is great. Sandy and shallow enough for toddlers and there are lots of shady trees on the grassy section. Water is nice and pretty clean. There’s a food truck there for snacks and ice cream.
