Been going here for years. Always a good place to unwind that's not to far from the city. Staff and service are good and there are plenty of activities throughout the camping season. If you're planning on going there on a holiday I would reserve ahead of time because it gets PACKED!

Had a great stay this weekend. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Booking was very easy! We had a near-disaster when part of our new air mattress came out of the box defective... but Jerry saved the day with a replacement. Big thanks!

Plein Bois is an upscale camping resort. The facilities are clean and very well maintained, staff are friendly and campers are very welcoming. This is a true home away from home.

There is no doubt that the campground is top notch - the pool, the bar areas, dance hall and bathrooms are the best we've ever seen at a campground. The food and staff at the restaurant were amazing However... very disappointed in the rental units and pricing. We booked a trailer, which we were told was one of the better rated ones. On top of what is, in my opinion an expensive accommodation rental, we were also charged a daily site fee per person which amounted to over $150 per day for our stay . Although I did agree to the rates charged, I certainly did not expect to be in a very run down trailer with mouse droppings in the cupboards and cutlery drawer, outdated (or inoperative) utilities such as microwave, broken lamps, water stained walls and curtains, etc. Although I still am rating Plein Bois 4 stars for the campground, the accommodations where certainly unacceptable and way over priced.

Great place to camp amongst men. Bird watching is a must, especially on hot and sunny days when even the shy ones fly nearby, unveiling their beauty to the curious eye. Oh and make sure you ask for extra cheese on your poutine at the cantine.
