Once a year for the past 3 years Great Canadian Female Anglers head to the French River in search of the great musky! Brenda, Art and Joe owners of the Bears Den Lodge make us ladies feel right at home, with cozy clean cottages, amazing food, and hospitality that makes the true experience a once in a life time holiday you will never forget and forever be itching to go again year after year. If you have been thinking of going to the French River to enjoy the beauty and fishing this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed!

Amazing place. Cabins are well maintained, as are the boats. And the French is just a magical place.

Great fishing, great scenery, nice clean cabins. The owners Brenda, Art, and Joe do a great job to make your stay the best. Everyone should put this place on they're list of places to stay.

Visited this place in early August and stayed for a week. Five of us stayed in a three bedroom cottage and there was plenty of room for more people. The people who run the resort are very friendly and their dog was equally friendly. We had a great time up there and can't wait to go back next year.
