After complaining about loud amplified music from Camp Solelim for years, the new director has instituted changes that have dramatically reduced the noise level. We can enjoy our summer evenings again with our windows open. Thanks!

This is our daughter's first year at the camp and to say it has been an fantastic experience would be an understatement. Shawna, the camp director is AMAZING and her staff are great. Their is a warm feeling when you are there. It's a great Jewish camp and we are thrilled that our daughter has attended. I highly recommend this camp to anybody who wants their child to have a great summer Jewish experience. Adrian from Thornhill

Thank you Shane Amyotte for your opinion, formed out of thin air given your lack of any known connection to the camp. Solelim ,in my informed opinion, is everything they claim to be. That might not suit everyone's taste but there are many other camps that offer luxurious suites and pampering for young people if that is your idea of camp and if the idea of getting dirty while camping offends anyone's delicate sensibilities. Solelim is a very compassionate camp and not in the least racist, but they do cater to the needs of Jewish youth in their formative years in the same way that private Christian or other faith based programs or schools cater to their constituents, and in so doing it is true that all of these places do require some evidence of membership in their respective faith group in order to participate.
