Very nice, quiet campground. We stayed at the Bobolink cabin for three nights. The cabin and grass area was very clean upon arrival. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster and gas BBQ are available for use. Guests need to bring their own bedding, plates, cups, utensils, and BBQ tools (including lighter). The cabin isn't very large but it was comfortable for 4 people. There is one bedroom with a bunk and a queen bed. The common kitchen and dining area also has a futon. If the weather plans to be hot and humid, consider bringing a fan or two. The cabin does get very hot. Both rooms have ceiling fans but they didn't help much with the heat or or air flow. I think the park could invest in a window fan to help on those hotter days. There seemed to be an issue with ants in this cabin. Bugs are to be expected in the outdoors but these ants were everywhere. We had to take extra care with food storage and tried to sweep them out as best as we could. An enjoyable stay that we look forward to every summer.

I'm very disappointed with the modification policy. If you want to change the dates for the two-nights stay you have to pay cancelation fees 9.75 + taxes plus one night stay fee 48.50$ + taxes. Stealing.

A beautiful, quiet campground. Campsites a very large and since it's an island, there are water views from all sites.

Great place to see Ontario birds. Open year round

Best fall camping, and summer, camping place in eastern Ontario. Lots of birds to see and feed right out of your hand.
