We really enjoyed our time at Camp Sandusky. We stayed 4 days in our pop-up camper. We went with my sister in law, who has tent-camped four years in a row. The staff were friendly (they were usually out cleaning the grounds, bathroom, etc), bathrooms were clean, kids loved the pool, they red the bunnies, and the playground was just amazing. It wasn’t too far from cedar point or other places we visited. It was a little difficult to see the actual site (they are done at angles to the road) but I didn’t have anyone around me, so it didn’t matter much. Lots of trees. My campsite was closest to the main road, and although you couldn’t see it, you could hear it. There were many others farther back. It was really quiet Wednesday and Thursday but once Friday hit, the campground was probably 80% full. They have cabins too, but we did not stay in them. We did enjoy our time and plan on coming back next year!

Family friendly, quiet, relaxing and affordable. Owner and staff are great. Much of the staff were high school - college age kids, I never once saw any of them on their cell phone and they worked hard (difficult to find these kids anywhere!). All you can eat pancakes were delicious. There were a couple occasions where the owner dropped everything to help us. He was eager to help and very knowledgeable. Bathrooms and laundry area were clean and it was nice to come home without loads of dirty laundry. Pool was clean and kept at a perfect temp. Overall great experience, we look forward to returning.

Rustic camping at Resort Prices! When we booked our stay here we were expecting a really nice place for the price quoted but when we arrived it was just very average. With all the dead branches and leaves that were brown (they had been there a while) you could tell that grounds maintenance was not a priority. The pool and the bathrooms/showers are dated and need an upgrade. You don't get much privacy in the shower area. The worst thing though is that the campground is right beside a 4 lane highway (Route 2)! It is very loud day and night. If you rent a cabin here you would be just steps from the highway. They do, however, have location, location, location which I imagine is why they charge so much. It is one of the closest campgrounds to Cedar Point Amusement Park. This is not a destination resort but a decent place to stay for a few days if you're going to Cedar Point.

Not a bad place. Packed but it was the time of year that we expected it to be. RV sites are really close together but we had some great people on either side of us so made it good. Showers were decent and for the most part everything was good. We would stay again for sure.

It's a nice campground with a lot of trees so there is some shade. It has lots of cabins and a small pool. The bathrooms are pretty clean and has showers. This campground has a big area of grass if a group of kids want to play football or something. There is a couple of rabbits that you can feed for 25 cents and if you want mine a bag of prepackaged gems in the dirt they have a mining wash board to screen out the gems. All in all not a bad place to camp there's a gas station and a McDonald's right across the street and it's only 10-20 minutes from a lot of attractions including Cedar point and Maui Sands hotel and kalahari resort.
