Great experience! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We went with a group of 3 couples, so we got to see 3 sites, 2 forest and 1 water. Each site has its own unique character and design. The outdoor kitchen setup is great, and quaint. The outdoor showers are hot and amazing on demand, and compost toilet are surprisingly comfortable and odour free! We went in labour day weekend and had some bugs outside, but not inside. The big mesh doors on the tent kept them out of the tents. The service was amazing!! They are so accommodating, your baggage is carted for you to your tent, and a quick text to the front desk, and wood, ice, or even eggs can be dropped off at your site. We’d definitely like to return!

Thank you everyone at Fronterra! We had a terrific time with you and have already recommended you to all our friends. Once one adjusts to the vibration of nature (this took different times for each member of our family!) it is so peaceful and beautiful to be one with it. To any camping purists who dislike luxury, I want you to know that being comfortable in nature in an ecological way in no way detracts from the magic of it. The tents, bathing, and cooking/dining facilities at Fronterra are so thoughtfully constructed with a great deal of attention to the smallest level of detail - this made us feel very well cared for. The park rangers were exceptionally helpful, cheerful, and accommodating. And your holistic lifestyle is a true inspiration that everyone can follow to whatever extent feels right.

Amazing experience, immaculate lodging, rustic in a charming well thought out way. The whole experience was so unique and well worth every penny! The staff and owners were polite and very welcoming. The surrounding area (Prince Edward) was picturesque and reminiscent of sea side villages. The only bad part was booking for two nights, wish we could have stayed longer!!!

The campsite was lovely, however unfortunately our expectations were not met. I went with my 2 kids and we were disappointed that the eggs were already picked as well as the vegetables. We did not see the farm at all. We saw one chicken. When we asked the ranger, she made it sound as if visiting the farm was not an option. There is no brewery in sight and no cooking classes as mentioned on the website. The tents are surrounded by forest, heavily shaded and bugs are rampant, even inside the tents. The ranger told us that we could sweep them down with the broom. There is no beach, we had to drive out to one even though the map appears to show the campsite on the edge of the lake. We rented a canoe, but had to canoe through a marsh with cat-tails and tall grasses hitting our faces as we left the dock. The main issue however, is that the sink is way too high and in the corner, in front of a huge wooden cooler. It is difficult to reach the water so the kids had a hard time washing up. There is only cold water and washing the dishes was uncomfortable. It was not a vacation at all, very nice for camping but for GLAMping- and the price, I did not expect to be so exhausted after the trip. The people were kind but I would not recommend this place, especially for children, possibly until more of the listed programs actually become active.

Inspirational and relaxing. This was by far one of the best lodging experiences I have had, ever. The owners were extremely hospitable, generous and friendly. The land, the camp and the farm are absolutely breathtaking. Be sure to check out the garden. Cant wait to come back again and again! Thank you!
