Pretty spectacular view and location, however the park doesn't seem to have any rules. Very loud at night on the weekend and the tents are literally almost on top of each other. We have never been on a campground with campsites as small as this one. Not sure we would ever stay there again. The also sold us completely wet wood which made the kids pretty upset as we couldn't have a bonfire. There was absolutely no way to light it up.

Wiarton is a beautiful town with lots to explore. Campground was lacking in bathroom facilities; would recommend bringing your own firewood as theirs was wet each day and all kindling; the tent sites are quite small... but I'd sacrifice that any time for the view each morning right from the water adjacent site.

Great park for kids and elders. We ended up here on our way back from Tobermory and so glad we did stop. There was a village fair so lots of rides and fun. The shallow beach is really good and good washrooms.

Wonderful campground. Nice grass lots. Unique and beautiful camp office. And an amazing variety of kid's and adults activities on the adjoining city park. Pool, boardwalk, bike paths, flowers (Roses, peonies, daisies, lamb's ear, iris, daffodils... Too many to mention. They just made me smile bigger and bigger as we walked along. I mean, who plants beautiful peonies in a rock wall? Wiarton does!) along the breakwall... all well maintained. This place is very well kept up, and I hope that the locals take advantage of all that their city has created for them! If you have a chance to stay here, enjoy!

Tent camping here is very tight and unfortunately we shared a fire pit with a neighbour who was using it for cooking. It would probably be good for families in trailers but I wouldn't go back.
