My husband went to this camp for many years and we were in the area and he wanted to show me the grounds to possibly send our children there one day. We drove up and were rudely greeted. My husband explained he just wanted me to see the grounds as it was part of his childhood. The girl just rudely said no, she didn’t even Introduce herself. In my personal opinion the correct response would of been “thank you for coming by, I’m so sorry we aren’t allowed to let people walk around but we’d love to have you up another time.” We did try to phone ahead but no answer. It was just a very unfriendly greeting and quite frankly a turn off from the whole establishment.

My daughter has gone to Silver Lake camp for 8 years, and loves it. She has made good friends, the counsellors are down to earth and fun, the swimming is awesome. I would definitely recommend this camp!
