Had an amazing experience here in the sixth grade with my school. Friendly staff and great activities!

A beautiful place for inner city kids to go and experience nature at its best

Jun 16, 2016
It was a nice experience, most of the food there was excellent, but what really bothered me was how we had to go outside exploring in the rain, we played "predators and prey" Outside when it was raining cats and dogs. Most staff there are nice, some get ticked off really easily. One thing that was great was that we get to be out of the city and get to experience the outdoors. It really give you and your classmates a bonding experience. We stayed in the homestead, it was NOT a great place to stay, knowing we saw 2 mouses in our cabin. Overall experience was okay, not sure if I would want to go back.

Great experience had fun all the staff were nice and my classmates had fun too. Got back today the only problem is that it was rainy so many of our activities got canceled. But otherwise was fun, a great bonding experience with your friends and the food was great. Thx to everyone who made this such a great experience.

When I was looking for the contact info I was surprised to find Google reviews. I've sent my kids here for summer camp 2 and 3 years respectively, and they consistently say how much they love it. As an urbanite, I appreciate the opportunity for them to experience the outdoors, and under the supervision of teachers and teachers-in-training. I went here as a camper myself, and in recent years the place has become a bit of a "best kept secret" for alumni like me. But with enrollment dropping, I don't want to keep summer camps here a secret any longer. Highly recommend!
