My grandfather had a lot there in the 80's. I went back today for a visit and its still amazing. The best part for me was the leash free dog park that is not a closed in area and its on the water. I am thinking of buying a trailer for next you just for the dog park. The people are friendly and its a big park.

Nice place for camping. Very nice people at the place. Clean and quiet place for holiday campers. Access to the Lake, nice swimming ground and beautiful view of the lake.

REALLY enjoyed our couple days there. They only have a couple non-seasonal spots, but we managed to snag one while we were passing through. Very accommodating, helpful staff! Beautiful, clean grounds that they obviously work hard at maintaining. Clean facilities. And I've never seen a campground with its own "Marina" for its campers. Docks on site! We will be back, I hope.

An absolutely wonderful place to spend weekends or an entire summer with the family

Birch Cove Campground is a trailer park. It has a few transient spots, but it is a seasonal trailerpark with seasonal fees. There are docks and room for boats. We have been there now for four years. They have a very active volunteer social committee. And rec centre to hold all these activities. Lots of things for kids. We also have a lovely beach on Pigeon Lake, in the Kawartha Region. There is extra parking. They installed TV service.
