Great place to go on a hot day. The lake is right there. Lots of bugs, though. Be sure to bring lots of bug spray.

Beautiful lake sights campground. They have WiFi, a fire ring and a picnic table. Rv area is a bit close next each other but lave view and so many stars in the sky are beautiful.

Nice campground. Showers are a bit strange but all in all a good place to stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Read all the dates on the negative reviews. The same 4 dead fish are still stinking up the very small and dirty beach area. The same driftwood pollutes and crowds the beach. We stayed here for a few days. The bathrooms were filthy and rusting and smelled musty, moldy and dirty. To enter the campground you must buzz the office or the apartment upstairs so they can raise the gate. The gate is visible from both. The few times I buzzed them they answered YEAH. My campground tag was clearly visible. They should have just raised the gate. At no time during any interaction during my stay did they make us feel welcome. They acted as if we were interrupting them. I witnessed the cleaning crew ready a cabin for an incoming vacationer. The crew made sure to collect any wood that was left behind so they could resell it. They should have left it knowing campers were checking in. During my first day through last day on the ground very close to the bathhouse lay a dirty pair of underwear that someone probably dropped by accident. I witnessed on several occasions the workers on the golf carts drive past and over them without thinking of throwing them out. Basically all the reviews here by real vacationers all say the same things. Don't vacation here unless you want to be treated rudely by the male or female that handle the front office and hang up on you if/when you speak with them over the phone. Do not think of checking out before 9am. They will not answer you buzzing them. There is no mail slot or key drop for early checkout. So if you plan on checking out early and give the $10.00 deposit for a gate key, just like the other vacationer said, you lost your $10.00 I will not be returning.
