This is a great park that is a task of Algonquin on a smaller scale. The gate house is new with two dumping and three filling stations in the park. There are three docs to launch boats from and a well organized rental system. The park store which doubles as the gate house was small but had everything you needed. The washrooms were clean and well taken care off. The beach is small so on a long weekend I suspect they will be full but we went in June during the week and had the beach to ourselves. The swimming area at the main beach is perfect for young children. Camp sites very in terms of size and privacy. The mosquito were bad but a bug coil kept most away. This peaceful park was worth the drive!

What can I say? This place is great. The staff was ALWAYS friendly and polite. I felt completely welcomed. You could ask anything you wanted and they wouldn't treat you any less. The place has great comfort stations for being a outdoors camping scenario. Price is great and lots are cleaned. Had a few issues with a raccoon but it's not the provincial parks fault - that's just nature. Canoes are the right price and the beaches are clean. Each fire pit also has a grill so you can good on it and from what I could see, each site gets a picnic table too. I'll definitely come here again.

This is my family's favorite camping location. We go here every year. if you are looking for a quiet getaway from Toronto, this is the perfect location just 2 hours from the city. It has a beautiful lake which is not adulterated by motorboats. It has some beautiful beaches, trails and docks where you can connect with nature. My favorite spot is the canoe launch dock at the end of Granite ridge campground. Go here and you wont be disappointed.

This park is great. Great view, clean and staffs are very friendly. My only complain would be the water tap where I stayed. It had a muddy water for as long as I stayed. I ran it for several minutes and tried many times. Muddy all the time. I had to walk further to get water which was not too bad. Expect lot of mosquitoes all day long. I don't usually bothered by mosquitoes but here... too many and all the time. I think it is because of the swamp across the park. Still had lots of fun.

Great place for a quiet getaway. We stayed here for two nights in a cabin. When we arrived, my first impression was of how clean it was. The cabin was very accessible with stairs on one side and a ramp on the other. We love the closed in deck area to store camping gear before entering the main cabin. The cabin was open and spacious with great ceiling fan to keep the air moving. The fridge and BBQ were convenient and worked well. Bathrooms, showers and a dishwashing room were a little walk from where the cabin was but not totally out of the way. If you want to be closer to bathrooms and beach book a cabin like 210, if you want a little less traffic book 201. Overall a great place, will look into booking it again.
