Had a BLAST here for Fireside 2017. Met a ton of bright minds from the tech industry. No cell phones made socializing and taking a break from the office a lot easier. The facilities were awesome. A ton of sports including hockey, basketball, baseball, two boats for water sports, diving boards, too many to list.

I registered my daughter for Walden summer camp in 2014 after a tryout and recommendation from my daughter's friend mom, because she attended the camp in her younger years. My daughter was assigned to the Betty Boop Camp, and one of her counselors was Shannon. Shannon picked on my daughter the whole time during her stays - which was 6 weeks while I was pregnant with my other child. Shannon also encouraged hate among the cabin mates- they picked on my daughter and gossiped about each other, they became gossiping and annoyed instead of enjoying the summer and friendships. I didn't know why my daughter never wanted to go back at the time and my daughter's friend has never gone back either. After we paid ridiculous fee, we got the worst quality of the staff and the experience. My daughter attends Tawingo Camp every summer, it is the best camp ever! We have introduced many of her friends there.

Attended a conference here, so maybe it's the nostalgia...nah..it was just a stunning place, with great amenities and a staff that made everything right.

I think the best parenting decision we've made was to not parent our kids for the summer & send them to Walden.
