Best place in the area for mountain biking. Before my hand got hurt a few years ago I would bike here a few times a week and also do the weekly race. My son still rides and I walk the trails which are still nice. The annual 24 hour mountain bike race is held here with exceptional camping and facilities. Also the staff are always super nice one day my dream is to be able ride here again. For now I just enjoy the beautiful park.

Spent the weekend camping here, found the information quite misleading and therefore ended up being a disappointed camper. There was no lake (as it appears on google maps, it has since been filled in), and the river water is not tested for bacteria levels therefore not safe to swim in, leaving your only option to stay cool on a hot weekend like this (38 degrees all weekend) is the splash pad and pool for an additional charge ($3.75 per person per day) to swim. There are no dogs allowed in the pool area therefore if you are camping with a furry friend you have no options to stay cool. The volume levels were quite loud past the 11pm quiet hour, despite hired security that did try to keep volume levels down. Overall, disappointed in this experience.

Given how close it is to Toronto it's a great place to use as a launch point for day trips into town. We were on site for a large mountain biking event and the park staff was quick to get things back in order after the masses had left. If your into mountain biking /hiking there is an extensive trail network in the conversation area.

Gorgeous conservation area, this is a big park, lost of walking and bike trails. If you like to hike in a peaceful environment this is the place, bit if you rather BBQ or spend time in a pool well this is also the place. Lots of fun for all in your family.

Great trails for mountain biking! Trails can also be used for hiking, and it's dog friendly :) Driving around can get a bit confusing but its not terrible. You do have to pay to enter but it's definitely worth it as you can ride different trails all day. I have only ever camped here for an organized race but they do offer "car-camping" sites for families. It's close enough to Toronto for a day trip.
