Great campsite. Well maintained. Very poor park wardens. We were on the first site in view when they would roll into the hawk camp ground and would harass us at every possible moment. We were up just talking at a normal volume and they gave us a hard time. We had just let the dogs out of the car so they weren't on leashes yet and they gave us a written warning even after explaining that they were just let out. The only reason why this all struck a nerve is because we had friends a couple of sites over and they told us that the wardens didn't even slow down when cruising past sites with dogs off leash. But when they went past our camp they would come to a stop to take a nice hard look at us. We were just trying to relax and they killed it. It would have been a much more enjoyable experience of they wouldn't have harassed us.

A favourite of my family. We visit Awenda every year and we always stay in Hawk! Big sites and lots of privacy.

Shower facility and washroom are not good. Campsite ground makes much dust. Totally it is inconvenient.
