Wonderful facility! We just had our daughter's birthday party there and everyone was so kind and friendly. The girls had a fantastic time and learned all about horses and riding. Would recommend to everyone!

The worst service I’ve had with any business in a long time. Called to book a lesson and she was too busy to talk, she said I could text. I found that very impersonal and unprofessional, especially as I was asking about etransfer. When asking about pricing she left out extra fees like having to pay extra for helmets. I’m unsure why a nessesary safety wouldn’t be explained or included in pricing when I booked the lesson. And the only way I could actually reserve my one hour slot with them is if I paid in full. She did not even explain what the lesson entailed- just so short and rude. After reading reviews on here I’m certainly glad I backed out at the last minute and went elsewhere! Hopefully they treat the horses better then the customers!

Terrific horseback riding lessons. The horses are really nice and responsive and the instructors know their stuff. Its less than ten minutes from my home in Kitchener.

I got a coupon through Groupon and I was super excited for my first ride. It was such a disappointement. There is barely any light and I couldn't even see the other side of the stall. There were cobwebs everywhere. When I got there I had to sign a form and I was put into a stall with a black horse and another lady. The instructor didn't even tell me what to do. Apparently we were supposed to groom the horse but at that time I had no experience with horses. Thank goodness the other lady knew what she was doing because I just stood there and awkwardly patted the horse while she was grooming and tacking up the horse. Out of the one hour lesson, we groomed the horse for 50 minutes, and then rode for 5 minutes. No exaggeration. I didn't know the horse and we had to share the horse. One person would ride for 5 minutes and then we would switch riders. When I was on top of the horse I had no idea what to do, not even how to hold the reins. I had no instruction so I just let the horse do whatever he wanted to do. I recall the instructor telling me to put my heels down once (btw I was wearing stiff rain boots) and at the end of my 5 minutes she told me to stop the horse and dismount. Of course I didn't know how to stop the horse or do anything. She then yelled at me to stop the horse but I was so shy and scared. She scolded me later on for not listening but it wasn't my fault I had zero experience and had never been on top of a horse! I never came back and luckily I got my money back. Now I am riding at a wonderful barn and hope to never return to Equestrian Arts! My new barn has taught me so much and I actually get to ride!

I got their vouchers from Groupon for the 4 hour introductory lessons. When I called them up to book, they were very rude to talk to. When my voucher was nearing expiry, I requested them to book our lessons so we don't lose out on the money. The lady said that she didn't have her calendar handy so will call me back. As I did not hear from her, I called her up again. This time she picked up the phone. After hearing my voice, she said that she can't hear me even though I could clearly hear her. Then when I tried calling back, she didn't even pick up the phone. So was very disappointed with their customer support. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone! Just wanted to add. I am sooooo glad my kind hearted children didn't go there and learn from the rude owner.
