This place is a joke. We were only 1 of 2 people camping here. I specifically asked for a waterfront spot so we could go on the dock and fish, as we have someone with a bad back that CANNOT do a lot of walking and stairs. We got the waterfront site but it is 70ft straight up. The only way to get to the water is to hike up and down 70 ft of stairs, very dangerous stairs! Many are soft or missing. If you have small children, don't rent the waterfront RV sites as there is nothing to preventing them from the 70 ft drop. So we paid the extra money for a golf cart to get to the main docks only to discover that the ride down to the main docks was on a gravel, pothole filled road, and not a path. Imagine that bouncing with a bad back! I also paid over $100 to dock our boat but had to leave it at the main dock to be able to access it. If you don't have a camper with a shower, be prepared to pay $2.00 for a 6 minute shower in a spider/ insect infested shower stall. Really? I paid over $400 for the week. I expect more than this. It was quiet and peaceful as we pretty much had the whole park to ourselves. But certainly not worth $400/week. A woman named Pam, in the main office, and her husband Randy were very sweet and helpful. Owner comes across as a bully. Not pleasant at all. Even the one day when she walked down to the end of the dock to see what we were doing. This was after she had stopped and inspected our boat. This was the female owner. I would have much rather have dealt with her husband Dave, but he was nowhere around for the 8 days when we were there.
