When visiting Stoney Point our family is always impressed by the friendliness of the owners and other campers alike. We love to spend our summers down by the water and the beach at Stoney Point is beautiful; always well kept and clean with fun water activities to do for kids and grownups alike. We have never had a negative experience here and are always impressed with how well kept all the public areas including the washrooms are.. they are immaculate! We always look forward to going every summer and are sad when it’s time to leave. Would highly recommend to anybody!

My family and I have been looking for a clean quiet site for our trailer we recently bought. The reviews for this location were good, and I even took a drive out to see it with my own eyes- it looked fairly nice. Although nothing over the top, it seemed to be well looked after (which is why I have given more than one star). Their website’s advertised starting price of $2600 for a seasonal site is reasonable and comparable to basically every other trailer park in the area, which does not leave you with the impression that they may only cater to a certain clientele. HOWEVER... I then proceeded to email the owners to inquire about availability and pricing. I received a response confirming that they have one spot coming available for this spring, and asking how big our trailer was, how many people we were, and if we had any pets. I responded (25ft, no pets, and small family). The owners responded saying “that sounds fine, what year is the trailer?” When I told them that it was a 2007, they said that it is “a little older than what we are looking for for this site. Sorry” While I understand them not wanting a rusted pile of metal sitting on their lot, our trailer is in excellent condition and has been very well taken care of, and we have been looking for the same in a trailer park. The lack of tact in dealing with this situation was very off putting; if you are going to have an age limit on trailers in the park, perhaps it would be best to be upfront with EVERYONE and advertise your “cutoff age” on your website. This would save for a lot of disappointment and wasted time. As local small business owners ourselves, this has definitely been a lesson for us on how NOT to treat your potential customers.
