Conestoga Lake Campground has some nice semi-private campsites and some that are less private. There is a sheltered beach area with a playground. The docks are often quite busy with people putting in and taking out fishing and recreational boats. The arms of the lake are often calmer for boarding with the larger open area being great for tubing. The water quality is better at the beginning of the season with Algea blooms being more frequent in August. The lake is a reservoir so the water depth goes down throughout the season. The campground has a small food stand as well.

In comparison to other camp grounds in southern Ontario. I found it to be over priced. Campsites are very not private. Minimal activities. One visit is enough. Been there done that.

only ever been here for day use. usually quite busy. boat launch is great. 4 ramps that allow quick in and out with a fair bit of nice dock space. I would never camp there as it's clear cut wide open sites. no privacy

Nice lake. If you fish you will want to get out before anyone gets up or after dinner. During the day its seadoos and wake skiers. A lot of oversized boats for that lake. Watch out for wood and stumps. Water levels can fluctuate being a dammed lake.

One of the most well kept clean conservation areas I've been. Fishing was excellent,a very healthy waterway with pike, small mouth, walleye, and crappie. Great docks and launch rental canoes and motor boats. Take the family for a day on a clean sand beach, bbq, have a good time.
