Nice place overall. For the most part well maintained and kept clean. I would give a higher rating but there were a few disappointments. The men's shower was set far too hot. And the 2nd shower was out of service. I was scalded doing my best to use the shower. The owner told me it was going to be fixed but it never was. The only other main disappointment was the rule about dogs. We use an electronic leash and our dog for the most part is good about staying close to us. He will occasionally chase a squirrel but is otherwise very friendly with people and other dogs. It was insisted that we have our dog leashed at all times yet the owners dog roamed freely anytime they felt like it. I was also called by the office and accused of my dog roaming around near the garbage bins, when in fact we were nearly a 1/2 km away playing with my dog in the river. I was a bit resentful of the accusation. I know not all dogs behave the same and there are some that should be leashed at all times. I put a lot of time and effort into training my dog so that I can let him off leash at times and I think if you are going to make a rule for guests...you should be setting the example by following the rules you enforce. Otherwise it was a great stay, but based on the dog rule alone it's unlikely we will go back. Our dog is part of our family and deserves to enjoy camping as much as we do without being chained to a post.

Had a great time with the family on the May long weekend. Little bit challenging backing your camper into some spots. Stocked ponds with bass and sunfish were a big hit with the kids
