First year in the park. Extremely nice and surprisingly quiet compared to others. Owners are friendly are the rules are pretty standard as they come. My only issue is distance from amenities as I'm used to being in-town parks but not really a major concern. Beach is beautiful and private and a short walk from Goderich (roughly 5km).

Unfriendly, unwelcoming, not kid friendly. Don't now where the reviews are coming from. This park is the farthest thing from friendly. If you are a guest or newcomer, you are not welcome. All parks have rules, but this one is over the top with restrictions. Beach is rocky, trek down to beach is not suitable for elderly at all. The water is great but you can get that anywhere along the lake. And don't you dare make ANY noise, not even child's play. I watched a 30 people at the park pig roast, all sit and stare at each other not making a sound. No one talks, cracks a smile or says hello. It's a very strange park, it's like the movie "Stepford Wives" the seasonal people, just something isn't right here.

Would be nice if they had a real web site with map of how sites are situated (like where in park they are located and location to washrooms and parking lot so he could say I'm reserving this site number for you and you could picture on map if that's where you would want it) All in all well kept campground but a little expensive compared to other campgrounds and if you have a large truck with a large camper it's a little difficult to make the turn to get camper in and he doesn't want you to really back up on grass. Sites are pretty much right next to other sites no real privacy. Asked him twice for a fire ring he said he would put one and forgot still wasn't about to ask 3 times. I was in contact with him to be sure site was still being reserved for us when we got there he was showing us 3 sites one no way would we be able to back into one had no sewage service so we took the third option but site across street had no camper but stuff from old site still there so couldn't pull forward had to cut in on a sharp angle which is difficult with steering radius on a truck with dually's and couldn't use mirrors because of angle to see and hedges from site next to us made it more difficult as I said if you go stress you want a site easy to back into and don't run ac a lot Beautiful beach though small smooth rocks then sand
