Love the beach here. It's shallow and warm and clean. With the dog beach just beside the people beach, it's awesome for pets. Everyone seems super friendly and it's a beautiful view. Only downside is it's often flooded in the spring high water time.

Nice place to walk in winter. Quiet. In summer pretty...but packed. Everyone knows their neighbors

Beautiful campsite, awesome staff and lots to do. There's a supervised beach and unsupervised beach that stretches for many kilometers. Campsites are kempt and you can buy wood from the front desk at a reasonable price. I go there every year and I am never disappointed by anything! They have showers and washrooms as well as porta potties. Running water and electricity if you don't want to rough it out. Campsites are usually very respectful and quiet as well. Definitely recommend this campground.

We went to the dog beach and had so much fun with the dog and kids. Unfortunately, that area is not recognized by the base. I wish they'd take care of it more, put a garbage can, install a bench that isn't broken nd falling apart and maybe install a few signs about picking up their dog's poo.
