I called to schedule a campsite at this location, and they told me they would take care of us and give us a good spot. They never told me while on the phone that the bathroom required a lock code. When we got to the campground the office was closed...we tried to use the bathroom and were confused that a code was needed to use the bathroom, I thought perhaps they had a different bathroom, but they didn't. My husband and I had to go to the bathroom outside since it was late and were weren't able to ask my neighbors about the bathroom. We went to set up a campfire that evening, and didn't realize that the campfire spot was literally 8-12 inches from a 3-4 foot drop into the water. When my husband went to light up a fire for the evening, he slipped and fell down and hurt his wrist and upper leg. If they don't fix the spot for the fire pit, someone is going to seriously get injured. The next morning we had our tent down before noon and went into the office before noon to charge up our phones before we left. We were asked if we were planning on staying another evening because checkout was at 12 (it was now about 12:10 or 12:15). We told them that our site was cleared off and it was before noon, and we were just charging our phones before we got on the road. We just decided to leave...it wasn't the best experience.

Final stop before crossing into Canada. Great location & to see the passing ships so close. Helpful staff, site is very well run

We didnt make reservations so we got one of the last sites available- next to the smelly dumpsters that were noisily emptied at 7am by the garbage truck. The park seemed like a gathering place for senior citizens with small dogs- and a lot of them smoked. But it was a fine place to camp for a night and a convenient place to watch the boats on the river. Bathrooms were clean but could use some fans to clear out the (smelly/smokey) air.

Very nice and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay and we will be back. Thus is a view from our site.
