Private home to the east of campground shot fireworks off every night for our 5 night stay which was a week after July 4. Police did nothing about it. I called them twice. Turns out the county has NO NOISE ORDINANCE. People can make all the noise they want anytime day or night. Weekends the park is very crowded. Park is nice if you can visit off peak times and not near fireworks season. We did not get a good night sleep all 5 nights. Never going back.

We had a great time. The park is very clean. It would be nice if the bathrooms were updated but hey... You are camping & they ARE clean. Usually around 10am is when the staff blocks the bathrooms off to clean them for the day. Easy laid back place to visit & close to a well stocked store that has just about everything you need in the last minute.

If staying here makes sure to check with your cell provider before arriving. You will have difficulty with the Canadian cellular network. On our last evening an employee came to our site and asked us is we knew we were supposed to move to a different campsite. He even had the info printed up. Good thing I printed the reservation information back in January when I made the reservation so I could prove we were where we should be.

Nice campground, clean bathrooms and showers. Not very many mosquitos, which makes for a more enjoyable camping experience. Gorgeous beach. There is a park for the kids, and a small grocery store across the road as well. Very reasonable rates.

Nice setting with beautiful beach. Could use more showers. Check out Superior Pizza down the street for great pizza!
