Alright if you have a soundproof camper. If tent camping don't anticipate a quiet night for sleeping. Right by the expressway so it is extremely loud. The campground, bathrooms and beach are nice but had to get earplugs to sleep. Won"t go back or recommend.

Leaving tomorrow morning and we've enjoyed our stay. I picked this campground because the sites offered a wooded feel and privacy and I was able to get a site right on the lakefront of Lake Huron (site 76). Prices were in line with, if not cheaper than some of the other campgrounds in the area. We only interacted with one staff member to check in /buy wood, but she was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were very clean each time I was there. Nice sandy beach area was clean. Only thing that could use some improvement were the showers. They were very cramped and one was backing up. We would stay here again. 3rd pic is view from our campsite

Generally speaking the view was excellent, the hook ups worked and the beach area was generally clean. There is so much potential to this compound with a little attention to detail to areas of the compound including freshening up the check in building with paint and organization. The maintenance buildings and yards need to be organized and “hidden” a little more from the customers. The playground equipment on the beach area should be thrown away and started fresh with a modern playscape. For example there is a kids race car bed plopped down on the beach which is strange....

Clean, well-kept and up-to-date. The gift shop upfront stocked with everything you never knew you needed. :-) the stairs and the view leading up to Castle Rock are well worth the trip. Absolutely gorgeous views. Well worth the stop.

Great experience! We stayed 4 nights in a tent site (102). It was a little soggy of a site, but incredible views. The campground was quiet at night, clean bathrooms, great showers (with perfect temperature water), and a wonderful long beach.
