Happy Day Lodge is run by a family of four: Sondra, Bob, Dylan and Samantha. We have been going up to Happy Day for 10 years and we have never been disappointed! If you really love fishing, you have to come here. The other guests are always very friendly and the cabins are well kept. It is nature at its best! I am permanently in a wheelchair and they have always accommodated me. We have recommended several of our friends, and they have all said the same thing. When can we go back?

Stayed at Prairie Bee Outpost twice last year and had a difficult time getting our supplies up heart attack hill to our cottage without any help from the owners. Then the second visit we also had major issues. Don't complain if you wish to be invited back. Definitely needs improvement in dealing with customer issues.

I have not travelled to fish at Happy Day in quite a long time. The 6 or 7 trips that I did make were amazing! On one trip my boat broke down and Bob and Sondra went out of their way to make sure we were able to fish in one of their boats for a more than reasonable fee. The weekly trips they make for guests is really beneficial. When I retire in January...Happy Day Lodge is on my bucket list! The fishing was amazing and never failed to produce many nice fish dinners! Thank you for providing a great experience for me over the years!

This place has some of the best fishing around. Yes it's a drive if you live in the GTA but you can't catch the best big fish around there. You've got to drive. This place does everything and provides what you need to get on the water. Lots of fun!

Came here for many years with my Dad, Grandpa, Brothers, and cousins. We stayed in cabin 4. Very nice cabin, clean, and all the utensils you'll need are provided. Bob, Sondra, and the kids were always friendly, and helpful. Most important the fishing was great!

We had a great time at Happy Day Lodge, Lake Windermere, Ontario! The staff is friendly, cabins are cleaned and the kitchen is FULLY stocked with everything from pot/pans, strainers, can opener, bowls, measuring cups, and even a cheese grater. Fishing was good and area beautiful for a relaxing week away.
