I am a long term customer, have been going there for years. There was soooooo much goose poop....having to watch your every step. I mentioned it to the staff, and all the said was sorry about that. I saw so many customers picking up goose poop off their sites. This should be done before customers arrive. The beach is dirty. The play structures are filthy. It used to be such a great place...now it's run down and dirty. My mother in law dropped by to give me a birthday card. They wanted to charge her $14 to walk in and give me a card. Yes she wanted to stay for a visit, and was willing to pay the $14. But she just wanted to make sure she could find me first before paying the fee. Lobby called my cell, but I don't hang out in my tent all day! They wouldn't let her look around for me first and then go back to pay them! This was extremely disappointing, considering the trip she made to come see me. I won't go back to this location. PICK UP YOUR POOP!!

Pros: Check-in was a breeze, and the showers were clean and the water was nice and hot, but that's about it. A big kudos to the male staff member (I think his name was Rob) who was kind enough to stop what he was doing, grab his truck and offered to boost my car after my battery had died during the weekend. Cons: The whole grounds were literally a minefield of goose droppings and navigating the little turds without issue while walking about was difficult and unpleasant, not to mention damn near impossible. So much so, that you would not be able to lay a blanket down without it falling on some turds. Also, during our second day of camping, my parents who dropped by for a visit were given a great deal of grief at the front gate when trying to locate us as we had left our cell phones in our tent and did not reply to their phone call saying that they had arrived. The staff advised my mother that her and my stepdad would have to pay to enter the park to even just have a drive around to try and locate us. Normally I wouldn't worry so much about it, but if the staff had known that my mother is fighting cancer and that this was a visit we were looking forward to, maybe they'd have changed their tune. Either way, the treatment they received was not cool in my opinion, and was very unprofessional and left me in a bad mood the rest of the day. Had they been allowed to enter the park to have a look, they would have easily found us at my girlfriend's parent's motor home and would have gladly gone back to pay the fee for the day pass. As with any business, there's always good and bad, but this time the experience was bad, and we will not be going back there anytime soon.

I am a bicycle tourist travelling long distance. 5 Stars because they offer a low cost place for cyclists $10-20. The campground is very scenic, large, a ton of staff on duty keeping it fresh and clean. Wi-Fi is spotty at best, but you are on the St. Lawrence, 5 minutes from the bridge to the USA, well run, clean and quiet. A great store for everything you forgot to pack. Pay showers but that is so people won't leave the water on at midnight and walk away. Highly recommended.

Nice campground right on the river. Be careful in June. Mayflies were out in force. reViews from last year complained about unfriendly staff and high prices. Found this to be not true at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful and a bundle of firewood is 10 dollars which is the going rate at most campgrounds. I will definitely be going back to Grenville

I don’t recommend taking lot 208- 213 if you have kids as they are all covered in geese droppings from them being there every morning. The wood is very highly priced and wet. The play structures were dirty and not maintained AT ALL I couldn’t even let my 1 year old crawl on it doesn’t take long to pressure wash something like that so they kids don’t have to play in filth **NOT FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN!!** I will not be returning.. very disappointed with my stay.
