Awesome staff and hard to beat prices!

Stayed there this past summer for a week. The cottage was simple, clean, and while the weather hampered our fishing, the owners tried their best to direct us to their hot spots. Looking forward to our next visit!

Booked and paid a deposit on a cabin but when we arrived, we were given a different cabin as the one we put a deposit on was given to someone else. Was not impressed and owners did little to rectify or make the situation better. The cabin we had was OK and clean. I would definitely move the communal fire-pit to an area where more than 2 people can sit at and get better pillows for the beds.

We stayed (tent) for one night during our bicycle tour. We liked it there. It's a small place with small no frills sights. My impression is that if you're passing through or there to do some serious fishing then it's the place for you. The staff and other campers were all friendly. I was sorry we couldn't stay longer as the fishing looked excellent. The bathrooms were clean and in good repair. The little store was convenient and decently stocked. Good for people on bicycles who can't drive to find stuff. As a bicycle tourer I recommend. As a lover of fishing I can only imagine what we missed out on. If we are touring in the area again we will definitely stay there again.

We tented there for one night to do a drop off and pick up of my children for Camp Manitou. A lovely little spot. Everyone was friendly. Had wished we had planned to stay longer!! Might rent a cabin next year!! Or tent again.
