This place was awesome. The campsites are clean and spacious. Our group of campers had children and we all felt safe letting them wander in and around our sites. The washrooms were conveniently close, needed a bit of cleaning but it was a fairly busy weekend when we went. The showers take loonies for 6 minutes of water but it was at good temp right away, didn't need much to adjust it to the right temp. There was a washer and dryer and they were a good size. Wish we had a chance to explore the campground more cause there was a river at the back end of the grounds, a pool, a playground and trails. The other campers were respectful and quiet during quiet time at night, which was helpful to those that have kids. Fun experience. Can't wait to come back. I definitely recommend this place.

The campground was nice and I like that all services were on the site. It wasn't far from the beach, just can't give it 5 stars. Good people that run it and we may come back in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights at The Winding River Camping this month. It's a camp site where you feel home right away. The owners, Angela and Tim, make you feel like home. The Camping has good size very private spots. Washrooms/showers are very clean and well taken care of. Very close to beautiful beaches. I will come back to The Winding River Camping for sure. Beautiful place and very pleasant staff. Only problem was about songs ( not loudly ! ) that we were playing music in background with our conversation with family friends.. staff point out our Regional songs that was even not too loud.. even that song was not clearly heard by us and second thing it was a family camping area that normal person allow to play music, to talk with other till 11 midnight, it was 10 pm , staff point out only on our music from all among other activities instead it was allowed. We heard even more decibel sound than our music sometimes before 11 midnight. It was a sad moment but I would still happy with other co staff, that she was so nice. I appreciate her cooperation.
