Could be an excellent place to spend a few days, watching the big freighters coming and going from the Locks. The City is apparently too cheap to put in sewer, it would be awesome. The list of rules are not enforced by the management, and the weekend rednecks impose their carrying on all hours of the night. Site next to us had a camper, two tents and about 15 loud people. Such an enjoyable experience.

First, let’s start with the positive points - you have a great view of freighters making their way through the waterway. You are in good proximity to downtown and the casino. The staff is friendly and helpful. This appears to be more of an RV attraction for those visiting the casino. There are hardly any trees on the campground, and privacy is minimal. If you are in a tent or pop-up, be warned that it can be extremely windy at times. Seagulls can be really persistent, but that’s what they do.

Very pleasant place to stay. We extended our visit for an extra day. The park is basically a flat field. The sites are gravel pads with power and water. The really neat part of this RV park is seeing the ships motor by a few hundred feet away on St Mary river. Toilets are modern and clean. private locking shower rooms are modern and clean, albeit a bit institutional feeling being all tiled.

What a little gem. If you are looking for a natural experience this is not the place for you. If you want to watch lake freighters go by, meet nice people, and be close to town. This is a great base to visit many U. P. landmarks

We love this area. The park is quiet, lots are fairly roomy. We don't use the facilities so I can't really judge. The park managers are very friendly. We love watching the freighters.
