Camped here over the Canada Day long weekend and had a wonderful time. The grounds are well kept and very clean as are the washrooms. Great play area for kids and we were treated to an amazing fireworks display that was put on by the owners (who were super friendly and helpful!). 2 areas for improvement would be the swimming area which is weedy and not swim friendly and the firewood- $8 for what is essentially a bundle of kindling.

Our experience. Very quiet camp ground, situated on a bay. We took a cottage near the water for $70.00/night. Great for watching sunsets. Everyone friendly, said hello. At the office, have guidance to best way to spend our visit. Had a swing, chairs. Atmosphere very relaxed. For negatives, camping zero privacy, which is why we gave it the rating we did. Total fire ban. But, being close to the water was nice.

Beautiful campground. My husband and I stayed a couple nights on our road trip honeymoon, and they made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. The little cabin had a kitchenette with everything we needed, and the screened in porch was a great surprise as well. The staff are nice and you can tell they work really hard to make everything run smoothly.

A good thing is they wait for you to arrive if you're on the last ferry. The waterfront sites are quite nice but it's quite difficult to identify which site you're on. The comfort stations aren't lit outside at night which makes it quite hazardous to get to at night if you don't have a flashlight. The showers are tiny but clean but could use some TLC. I'd say it's ok price wise, could be $10 less a night.

Great place to camp!! We used to go every year but havent been in 2 years and recently just went back and the owners recognised us and welcomed us back! The owners are awesome and very friendly! The campground is very nice with water that is crystal clear. Great place to relax. I would recommend this place to everybody. We will be back!
