The gardens are spectacular. If it's your first visit, try the Rock Garden, the greenhouses at the RBG Centre, or the trails in the Arboretum. They're fantastic. The Rose Garden was redone in 2018 and may take a little while to reach its full potential, but it's worth a visit. The staff throughout are friendly and there are always good events going on. We like the tea festival and the various flower festivals, but there's so much more--music, guided walks, arts and crafts, family events. We go often and always love it.

Easily one of the best gardens in Canada. This is a must see if you're into flowers and botany. Perfect for exploring and learning. Also great for events, such as weddings or meetings - their staff will do everything they can to ensure the event is successful. They've recently unveiled their new rose garden as well which (from what I've heard) is breathtaking.

The Rose Garden is the centre of the exhibit, although there are other nice plants to see. The roses looked quite new when we went and we enjoyed the large variety of roses. There's not a lot of shade around the roses so we do recommend avoiding very hot days if you can. It'll be good to see how the rose garden matures over time.

Came here for our engagement shoot. Paid $25 for the photo permit. We went to the rock garden which was beautiful. We got some amazing shots and are really happy with the way our photos came out. The only disappointment was the waterfall. On the website it looks like a full sized waterfall but in reality it’s not that big at all. If your considering taking photos here or even just going on a date it’s really nice.

Gardens are distributed and are easily accessible. One thing to note from the maps is that, one gets a feeling they are very huge and plenty of walking is required. On the contrary, you can do them in less than 4 hours and yet cover them all. Children play area is very limited and children feel disappointed. One would love to buy some of the plants, but the truth is they do buy themselves from an outside source, nothing is available for sale. Only place where some snacks were available was in the rose garden. The cafe is also not easy to note as there is no board or marker. Better still, make sure you carry your own food. The coffee there was not fresh and was stone cold.
