The campground itself is very well kept. The trailers/RVs parked on the grounds are nice and very well maintained, and the people living in them seem happy and nice. The campground is located right next to a small restaurant that is VERY busy where they serve American foods like burgers, fries, ice creams, and pies. There is a lot of artwork, predominantly steel art sculptures that you can interact with and sit on, along with a little photography area where you can take pictures "with" the Simpson's. The campground is located right next to lake Erie (right across the street from Beach entrance 1) where many families go swimming, tanning, boating, or just to have fun playing games on the beach in the warm seasons. The camp grounds are also right down the road (walking distance) from an amusement park called Waldemere, which has food, small children's rides, and even some large roller coasters, one of which crosses the main road. Sara's campground is a one of a kind campground- all American fun place to be. It's definitely worth a visit.

If you're looking for a nice relaxing camping experience...step on the gas and pass this place! If you decide to give it a chance just know you will be trying to set up a tent inside a sardine can, smack in the middle of a trailer park! The roads are so tiny I thought I was driving on a bike path! Might as well have been because you can be waiting for kids to get off the road a good 10 minutes(or until parents come get them) I feel like it would be a great place IF that's what you're into! However, we wanted good old fashioned camping at a real campsite. Not in the corner of someone's yard in the trailer park! Luckily we only paid for the 1st night because we knew we were out of there 1st thing... I was up by 5:30am ready to get moving!

I've been a permanent on beach side for 28 yrs and hope to be there another. I've had the best times of my life here. It's just like the old school hoods we grew up in everyone looks out for one each other. And kids have so much fun. I've met people for all over the world camping on the beach. Just great memories for ever!!!!!

What a lovely campground. Campground was clean and well maintained. Bathrooms / showers clean and in good working condition. We stayed on the water front which made for a wonderful camping experience. Friendly staff and campers.

I have been camping here since I was a child. I truly believe this campground has been a blessing in not only my life but my entire family .It started with my grandparents and now our family has 4 trailers and we spend our summers together keeping our family unity .Thank god for the wonderful owners Brian and Anne who work so hard at keeping this campground a enjoyable vacation place for all to enjoy.
