We went for a day trip to go fishing, have lunch and generally enjoy the great view of the river. Tons of camping areas a nice little beach, but the best for us is the little day use island. Picnic tables a trail and no bugs.

My son and his wife had their Wedding Reception at the privilian, building is very nice. What I saw of the park was nice. 1st time there. I would consider staying there.

Beautiful NYS park. Stunning riverview, great place for a walk especially off season when it is quiet. Spectacular sunsets.

Kring Park was a beautiful place to camp. We had a river front site for our popup camper for like $26 a night. It was quiet and picturesque, and dark! The night sky and star gazing was amazing. Down side: few sites had electric and I don't think any had water; also, no camp store. Bathroom and showers were adequate, but you had to keep pushing a button to keep the shower flowing; I guess that's how they conserve water. We enjoyed our site for 2 nights, but I admit I was happy to move on to full hook-ups.
