Small, simple, quiet, with a mostly historical appeal. Purported to be the site of the last duel in Canada. 1833: The last fatal duel in UpperCanada was fought in Perth, Ontario on June 13, 1833. Two law students and former friends, John Wilson and Robert Lyon, quarrelled over remarks Lyon made about a local schoolteacher, Elizabeth Hughes. Lyon was killed in the second exchange of shots on a rain-soaked field

This is a beautiful park located on the Tay River on the edge of Perth Ontario. A little more half of the serviced camp sites are taken by seasonal trailers. There are some unserviced sites available all the time. There is a laundry room, washrooms and showers. Being on the river/wetland means lots of mosquitos, and they are silent and relentless, so we were chased inside our trailer at dusk.

The docks have fairly shallow water at the head ends. There is 30 amp service for some of the docks. No water.

A very nice little park in Perth but I would like to see more picnic tables.
