Beautiful campsite in the greater London. 30-45 min from the center of London. Comfortable, lots of green space. All amenities one can dream of. I loved it. Been there many times. The place is safe. For people of all ages and condition. Near by, at Edmonton (5min by bus, 10-15min walking) you will find a great Market Place with everything you can need from food to camping material. Clothes, shoes, make-up, music, etc.etc.all at a very low price. Bargaining in the small boutiques is possible. There are also nice pubs and a post office. At this post office you can cash money sent to you via Money Gram or Western Union from abroad. Edmonton is like a tiny town in the London suburb, 10 min from Lea Valley Parc.

A nice, well kept camp site with all of the facilities that you would expect. We stayed in one of the cocoons for 3 nights and were very comfortable.

Had potential but was disappointed with the fact the toilets were closed every morning between 9-10am for cleaning. This was done after repeated complaints by ourselves and other visitors, the staff Simply couldn’t care less. We were 3 families with kids staying over for 4 days so this became a real pain. As well as this the toilets are in serious need of updating. The WiFi was completely useless, did not work at all. Again staff didn’t seem keen to help resolve this nor have any suggestions, simply shrugged their shoulders and carried on with their conversation. Good points were location was convenient for central London, cinema and shops nearby and site was peaceful and tidy.

Disappointed by the welcome we received this time as we arrived at 12.20 and was abruptly told we could not check in until after 2.00 pm or be charged an extra price. We have been here many times in the past arriving between 12 and 1 pm and never had this attitude before. It was pointed out that this was in the terms, perhaps it should be made clearer on the booking form. As the place was almost empty I couldn't understand the strict adherence to this rule. It seems many more of rules are ignored.

I like because near to London and reasonably priced/bathrooms get busy and a bit dirty at times
