I heard great things about Sam and his training sessions. So decided to start out on the 1 to 1 personal training sessions. Worth every cent, I am already looking to drop a dress size too. The best I have felt in years. Feeling really motivated everyday now.

I signed up to Swift last September 2016 as I loved the idea of working out outdoors but after 2 months it got too cold and rainy for me and I decided to cancel my membership. Instead of cancelling the membership they recommended I freeze it for 6 months. Thinking that I might be up for it again when spring came I thought “ Why not” so went for it. They said they would email me a reminder so I thought: what’s the harm? Anyway time goes by and looking at my bank account this August I spot this £49 direct debit. I thought it was fraud as the name “debit finance” didn’t ring a bell and seemed strange. I was very surprised when they told me that “Debit Finance” was the company used by Swift Fitness to manage the direct debits. I hadn’t received any email saying that my membership had been renewed and I hadn't heard from them since October! What a shock to discover that during 4 months they had been charging me without my knowledge!! 200 pounds! I just couldn’t believe it. I approached them to ask for a refund as they had been charging me for a service I hadn’t used. I thought it was a reasonable request. But their response was very unflexible. They said that they were following their T&Cs which stated that the direct debit would start “without warning” after the freezing period. As a small business owner mysef I can understand how important T&Cs are but I believe being flexible, offering a great customer service and having values of integrity are far more important. I would never charge anyone any money for a service I haven’t provided them with. It saddens me to have spent days arguing with them and I decided to stop fighting for these 200 pounds. I just wanted to write this review to make sure no one else finds themselves in this position.
