This is our first year here as a seasonal camper and we couldn’t be happier. The sites are large and the grounds are well groomed. Pat and Anesa, the owners, go over and above to ensure your needs are looked after. The security is exceptional. Gated access. We recommend this beautiful, friendly, well maintained camp restore. You won’t be dissatisfied.

Rules/Bylaws

It's still amazing to me why people that have been fully vaccinated believe that they are exempt from the rules and/or bylaws of the province. Whether you are fully vaccinated or not does not give you the right to ownership of your actions in a public place. As for the so-called numerous BAD reviews that have previously bewn mentioned, I myself cannot find them!! Having said that, my family feels exceptionally safe at this park due to the rules that have been implemented and accepted by the individuals here, as well as signed off. We have been here over 20 years and plan to spend many more here.

I had an amazing weekend at Burnt Hills Lakeside Resort in September 2023 and felt compelled to share my wonderful experience. The park is impeccably maintained, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The private beachside and dock for launching boats added a delightful touch to my stay. The trails are perfect for a leisurely walk, allowing you to connect with nature in a serene environment. The recreation field provides a great space for various activities. One of the standout features was the attentiveness and knowledge of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable experience. The amenities available made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I was particularly excited to learn about the ongoing upgrades, including the construction of a shed for hosting events. The hosts mentioned it would be completed before the 2024 season, and I can only imagine how fantastic it will be for future guests. If you're looking for a getaway that combines nature, comfort, and friendly hosts, Burnt Hills Lakeside Resort is the place to be. I can't wait to return and experience the new additions they have in store.

Happy Campers!! We were lucky enough to secure a transitional spot for 2 nights this week with accommodation to camp beside our fellow transient camper family! This was our first experience at Burnt Hills Resort and were pleasantly greeted by the owners, guided through the park and into our spots. This park is gorgeous!! We were happy with the location and Dog Lake was the favourite part for our family. The kids loved playground in the park, the beach area and water slide. The amenities were so close to our site, very clean and accessible. The seasonal campers were friendly and very welcoming. Pat and Anesa(the owners) were amazing- they made sure we were comfortable, delivered our wood and when it came time to pack up- pumped our grey/black tanks for us. We really enjoyed our stay at Burnt Hills Resort and the memories will last a lifetime.

This past summer was our first season at Burnt Hills, and I knew from the first moment I met Pat and Aneesa that we chose the right park. I thought that my desire to spend my summers quietly enjoying nature with good people was just a thought, but Burnt Hills made it a reality. It also needs to be mentioned that Burnt Hills is a place where your whole family (including your beloved pets) can spend your summer days feeling safe and free from worry due to their well-structured model of decorum and courtesy... which is in place for just that reason -- Safety! I confidently sign this review as a happy and satisfied return camper! *** I forgot mention that Pat and Aneesa always contacted us when we were off-site if there was any issue with our boat. There was a lot of rain and our tiny boat would get filled with water. Their daughter even went to the great lengths of bailing out our boat so it wouldn't sink -- she saved our engine! THANK YOU!!! This was our families first stay at the park and we were all very happy with our park choose. Pat and Aneesa were very friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived until the moment we pulled out. The park is well maintained and we found it very quiet. A small park for grandkids a private beach and a boat launch. What more can you ask for. The bass fishing was great on Dog lake. We will definitely be back. The kindness and hospitality was appreciated

Pat and Anesa are both amazing hosts and great people as well. We went there for just over a week and the gave us an amazing lakeview site. They have turned this place around from what I heard from the seasonal people when we were there. They are very busy daily making it look great and witnessed them improving things daily. Also witnessed Anesa handing out free ice cream to little kids one day when it was hot. Made me feel good that there’s still great people out there like them. So all in all it’s well kept and on a very decent lake. The lake is weedy but apparently great fishing.
