This campground is great for a day trip or to stay 3 or 4 nights. The perks are a nice beach and easy to launch kayaks on and not ever too busy. There is one trail that is maintained nicely for a short hike. The downfall of this park is that it is right on Highway 7 so traffic can be heard. Park is clean and well kept. Not ideal for biking but nearby roads give ample opportunity for this.

This park is very small but great to spend few days with family or friends. Lake is decent for paddling or boating. Beach is not great but good enough for hot days. We had site number 42 and it has lake facing view which was great part of my trip.

A great family park. Lots of privacy, clean park, well maintained and monitored grounds, well maintained beach. ***Do your diligence with regards to weather*** if you can avoid rain and overcast you'll be ok. The bugs were relentless and UNGODLY! We dealt with some pretty crappy weather which created a breeding ground for oversized mosquitoes in an already marshy area. Unfortunately these radioactive hosts stole the show and dominated the grounds, trust me, too much to handle. Post 126 is heavily wooded but nice a private. Deep into the grounds. 114, 115 are also nice and also elevated if you want to share with a big group. other than that, great trip and great staff.

Night 1 This camp sucks. Caterpillars everywhere. Warden is on a high horse - stalked our campsite in the dark, and gave us a warning (stern threat) for talking around the camp fire (I am not making this up!). Warned us that his next visit will result in $180 fine and eviction PERIOD. He explained that even the volume he was talking to us at was too loud (10:30 PM). Ontario Parks needs to review the people running this campsite, and retrain the staff. Night 2 Warden apologized for being extremely strict the night before, and gave us space for night 2. Campground - 4/5 Beach - 4/5 (small but clean. Water was warm enough to swim in) Wardens - initially 0/5... I guess they get a 3.5 / 5 Thanks for the experience! - Adonis Dina

Beautiful camp ground, lake and beach. However the wardens are rude and harass you as soon as the night comes around. If you plan on being super quiet this is the place for you, if you want to play music(even at a level so low you can`t hear it from the road) prepare to get harassed by the wardens, they will even stalk your site in the dark to make sure you are not even talking. The wardens are very rude and seem to think they are super cops. Don't even try to be friendly with them, they don`t like that.
