Great place to camp for a week or a month! Friendly atmosphere with a great view. Been here many times and always had a great stay.

Very good campground. Quiet and family friendly. Has a beach, but the water has some vegetation. I haven't swam in it yet. Thr water is a bit chilly. But less chilly than the water at the Grotto. Its good for boating, or fishing. The only reason i give it 4 star is because the camp tables are sometimes broken, or very weathered. Also some of his sites dont have much for tree belts, so it can be less than ideal on a windy day. Norm showed us his best available location on a windy day, and it definitely helped us over night. Other than that Norm has done a good job on providing essential for a good camping experience. Norm is also very courteous. And it looked like he gets a lot of repeat customers to rent sites or trailers. $27 with tax for unserviced site is very good price for the location, maybe slightly high ( considering the unserviced site at bruce national park was a little cheaper, and better). Any higher price would be too much. Any lower is bonus and will help him attracting more clients. The other sites are very close in price, and slightly better. But still, bottom line; we weren't so much bothered on the rate. Norm has excellent bathrooms and shower stalls. There is coin laundry, which is great for extended stays. Also there is hot water in the washroom
