Fantastic secluded campground, right on Lake Superior. The bathroom houses are top notch; super clean with very nice (and warm) showers. The campground owner is really nice, and respectful of your privacy. The location is a little off the beaten path, but in my opinion, that's a good thing when your camping! My girlfriend and I choose this spot because of the pristine wilderness and hiking that surrounds the campground, which definitely does not fail to live up to expectations!

We had a fantastic stay! Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and quiet! We loved being right on Lake Superior and even saw some Northern Lights.

The biggest attraction of this campground by far is the campsites right on the water, with spectacular views, especially the beautiful sunsets viewed right from your camp chairs next to your tent. That being said, the biggest downside to this campground detracts from the lovely sunsets, and that is the guests who fly drones to get photos of the sunset. As my 8 yo son said, "why can't they take photos without a drone?". The noisy whirring of the drones is a huge distraction from enjoying the peaceful splendor of nature in a place that would otherwise be secluded from much human interference. I suggest that the owners should consider following the example of the state parks in the area and ban the operation of drones on the property. I'd love to return again for the lovely lakeside campsites, but if drones are still permitted, I'll strongly consider looking for a state park to camp at instead.

Good people, but it is not a RV Resort, they didn't mow the grass, didn't spray for bug and don't clean firepits out. Grass was 8-10 tall, mosquito eat us up and one of firepits was full of garbage. Also low water pressure and cold showers. Not coming back.

Very peaceful and beautiful camp sites with an amazing lookout like no other. If you are in Allouez or coming near here I recommend it.
