I can't wait to come back!!!! I've never had such a smooth camping experience. The view of lake Ontario was breathtaking and the people we camped around were SO friendly. We were close enough to the falls, but far enough away we didn't get hit with all the other tourists traffic at the campsite. Very relaxing, showers and restrooms were clean. Note: Water pressure is serious in those showers, and the curtains weren't to the floor. If you set your clothes too close to the actual shower stall, they will get sprayed. Lol. Have fun!!!

Nice camping area. Water can be an issue as it can be well over a hundred feet to the nearest faucet. One big playground and 1 smaller one. Very close to Niagara falls. Roads could use some work. Bathroom are clean and shower are a good size

Beautiful state park about 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. The bathrooms were top notch, all sites had power, but no water in ours. Want a problem as we just filled up with our hose a few sites down. Iur site backed up to Lake Ontario, and a short walk away was an area you could watch the sunset with Toronto in the distance. Great place for a short or long stay.

Beautiful campground right on Lake Ontario, with nearby state parks for swimming and historical buildings. Trolley to Niagara Falls has a stop at Fort Niagara.

When checking in, we were rushed out the door - the check-in person never told us where our campsite was - only that it was #29. We were not given a map either so I’m not sure how we would know where to do. After getting settled, I went in to ask where the swimming area was. They do not have a swimming area as posted on their signage, but the sign directed you to ask for directions to the nearest swimming area. There was another person in the office asking the same thing. NEITHER of us got the information we needed. The kids working there started to ramble off directions and she looked at him and said “I’m not from around here, you are going to need to write that down.” I ask a girl working and I literally asked her three times to repeat herself because I could not understand a word she was mumbling. She acted entirely put out that I was asking her for directions! “Turn left on 18 and it’s about 9 miles and you will see the signs for the xyz park.” I still have no idea where it was and after drving about 15 miles I never did find it. HINT - there is a very nice swimming area about 3 miles away at Fort Niagara. We discovered that on a day trip to the fort. I read in one of the reviews that the check-in papers include a free parking pass for Niagara Falls State Park - AGAIN, that would have been good information to be told, we we did go to that state park and paid to park. Only now that we have left and I read the review did I find this out. The sites themselves were very large and easy to get in and out of - that is about the only nice thing I have to say.
