Great hiking trails? Check! Clean lakes to swim in? Check! Beaches with both bathrooms and change rooms? Check? Great options for food after a long day at the park? Check! I highly recommend this for anyone. There is something for absolutely everyone.

Amazing, Serene, peaceful and beautiful. Perfect for hike and the trails are so well maintained and shaded by trees. We hiked around the pink lake and black lake. Both trails are amazing with decent elevation. The view of the lake around the trail makes you stay there more and love it more. Parking is available and restrooms are there at the entrance which were fairly clean. Great experience and will keep visiting it again.

I've been into the park only a handful of times in the past 6 months. Maybe 10-15 yet I still don't feel qualified to leave a proper review. The park and it's trails are so expansive, ever changing with the season, and with tons of easily accessible (car access to trail heads, not wheelchair) points to start. There is a huge variety of trails from 30-60 minute walks to day long hikes. There are beautiful lakes to wonder around, canoe on, swim in. It's such an underrated attraction for both locals and tourists a like. Make sure you a visit into Gatineau Park in on your to-do list.

It's a huge park with tons of trails to choose from of varying levels of difficulty. If you like hiking, this is your Heaven. I wasn't crazy about paying $12 to park just to go to the beach for the day at Philippe Lake, but it is what it is. I guess it pays for all the lifeguards? And even then you're not allowed to go outside of the roped in area so you're in this small area with tons of annoying, screaming kids and teens throwing a football around in the water and you have to constantly watch them so you don't take an off thrown ball to the face. Ok that's my swimming beef. But for hiking and biking, the park is great. Bring your bug spray or they'll drive you crazy.

It is a beautiful park. With everything you need and want. Great hiking trails. Nice bicycle paths, amazing views. Nice beaches with places to swim. Great photo opportunities, wide variety of wild life. Sky slopes... the only minus is the park authority creating tons of issues for cars, bicycles and pedestrians.
